Progression into Sixth Form….

St Benedict’s Sixth Form is one of the largest School
sixth forms in the country and offers a wide range of
over 25 subjects at AS and A level. In addition we
offer a wide choice of one year and two year
vocational courses in areas such as Hair and Beauty,
Engineering, Business Studies, Sports Studies, Health
and Social Care, Public Services and ICT.

Our focus is on creating independent and confident
learners, skilled to meet the challenges of the
twenty-first century. All students are supported in
their learning by a Sixth Form Tutor and, from the
outset, students, parents and teachers are made
aware of the minimum academic targets expected.
Through effective teaching and directed support,
students are enabled to meet their God-given
potential. Our success is demonstrated by the
academic achievement of our students and by the
excellent record of university entrance.

St Benedict’s Sixth Form has dedicated Sixth Form
facilities on each site. These include supervised study
rooms, a common room, a Learning Resources Centre
and extensive ICT facilities.
