A Wide Curriculum….

The School curriculum offers every student the opportunity
to learn and to succeed. In years 7, 8 and 9 the emphasis
is on a broad based education.

During Year 9, students are able to choose options to study
alongside a core of RE, English, Maths, Science, Citizenship
and PE. These choices are made from a wide range of
subjects:

Three separate Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
Two Modern Foreign Languages (French and Spanish)

This wide range of subject choices offers every student the
opportunity to enjoy their learning, to achieve and to
continue with their studies in the Sixth Form.

The School offers a wide variety of teaching styles and has
a commitment to excellent teaching. Students are taught
mostly in subject sets, according to their ability.

A well trained and resourced team of staff helps any student in
need of individual support with learning or language
development.
